Interactive survey course designed to provide you with the basics of the law as applicable to starting or operating a small business. Discussion of forming a business entitu, the use of contracts, employment issues, real estate issues, tort lawsuits, hiring an attorney, dispute resoluton and other topics raised by participants, The class will cover in depth topics relevant to operating a business in the time allotted. Our goal is to help you to understand some of key relevant issues in an attempt to de-mystify the law, give you some tools to do additional research and help you decide when you need to hire and attorney. We will also disucess some real work examples.
This is a 3 hour one-day seminar.
